About Me
I am third grade teacher, turned nutritional therapy practitioner. After years of chronic acid reflux, bloat, hormonal acne, headaches, painful period cramps and anxiety on one particular summer off from teaching, I really stared diving into my nutrition in an effort to actually feel better. I never had thought much about how the way I was eating was impacting my health. I went through Starbucks almost everyday, ate out regularly, and had what I call an addiction to McDonald’s Coke. When I started changing my diet, all these common symptoms I had started to disappear. I have more energy, no acid reflux, my period comes and goes with hardly any cramps, and my skin is the clearest its been my whole life. I am truly able to live my life to the fullest, symptom free.
How did I get here? I nourished my body with real food, learned how to track my menstrual cycle and use it as a vital sign, started moving my body in ways I enjoyed, drank more water, balanced my macronutrients, and gave myself room to heal.
